The purpose of this course is to enable students with disabilities to acquire the career knowledge and skills necessary to identify career options, access community resources, and develop work-related behaviors. The content should include: self-appraisal, decision making, self-determination and self-advocacy, career options, community resources, workplace competencies, and rights and responsibilities of employees.
