This course will introduce the student to the Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) process. The competencies met in this course will help fulfill the GMAW requirements for the American Welding Society's Entry Level Welder certificate (QC10). The student will learn how to properly weld with the most commonly used wires in all positions. General shop and equipment safety will be stressed.
