AVID 11 builds upon the skills and techniques developed in AVID 6-10, by working towards the goal of college acceptance. To this end, students receive support preparing for their SAT/ACT tests, finding and narrowing down their best fit colleges, writing their college essay, and preparing for senior year. Students also receive support for their honors and Advanced Placement courses and skills and strategies to prepare for the academic rigors of college as well as support selecting appropriate courses to best prepare students for college.
