This course offers the student an opportunity to continue to develop and apply knowledge and skills in a variety of areas in theatre technology: theatre architecture, scenic design, construction, lighting, sound engineering, make-up and costume techniques, theatre management, and publicity design. Students will explore major historical periods and cultural differences in architecture and clothing design to ensure period-correct productions. Students will develop creative expression through light and set design. Aesthetic valuing and perceptions will mature with experience and repeated applications.
