This course expands knowledge in all phases of theatre production in an activity/workshop class setting. This course offers the serious theatre arts student an opportunity to further apply all phases of the production process. Theatre theory in areas including acting, movement, directing, design, production, expression, improvisation, aesthetic appreciation, and criticism will be addressed. Practical performance skills will be expanded: theatre of varied cultures, historical theatre literature, audition practices, theatre management, rehearsal techniques, aesthetic perception, and applied technical crafts. This course is designed to meet the needs of highly motivated theatre students.
Prerequisites: Theatre Production 1A-1B and instructor approval
