Norco High – Chinese for Heritage Speakers 2a-2b

This course further develops and refines the speaking, listening, reading and writing skills developed in Chinese for Native Speakers 1A-1B. Through constant practice, students expand their ability from everyday survival language to more advanced interactions. Conducted entirely in Chinese, this course includes grammar review, vocabulary development, and engages students in communicative exercises. Reading materials include a selection of contemporary articles, and literary as well as cultural authentic texts. Reports and oral presentations strengthen all areas. Students will learn an additional 700 characters, either in the simplified or traditional form.
Prerequisites: Grade of "C" or better in Chinese for Native Speakers 1B
