Chinese 3 further develops and refines the speaking, listening, reading and writing skills developed in the first two years. Through constant practice, students expand their ability from everyday survival language to more advanced interactions. Conducted mainly in Chinese, the course includes grammar review, vocabulary development and engages students in communicative exercises. Reading materials include a selection of contemporary articles, and literary as well as cultural authentic texts. Reports and oral presentations strengthen understanding of target language.
Prerequisites: Completion of Chinese 2 or Chinese for Native Speakers with a C average or higher
