Nexton Elementary – Chorus 1

Chorus courses develop students' vocal skills within the context of a choral ensemble inwhich they perform a variety of styles of repertoire. These courses are designed todevelop students' vocal techniques and their ability to sing parts and include experiencesin creating and responding to music. Formal and informal performances may be includedas part of chorus instructional programs. Specific course content should align withexisting standards for visual and performing arts proficiency.
