Small Engine Technology I includes knowledge of the function andmaintenance of the systems and components of all types of smallengines such as outdoor power equipment, motorcycles,generators, and irrigation engines. This course is designed toprovide training for employment in the small engine technologyindustry. Instruction includes the repair and service of cooling, a,fuel, lubricating, electrical, ignition, and mechanical systems inaddition, the student will receive instruction in safety, academic,and leadership skills as well as career opportunities.
