Schedule Full Year. This course introduces the concepts and skillsfor preparing and presenting public messages as well as analyzingand evaluating messages from others. Students study style,organization, and delivery of messages, including diction, voice,posture, and eye contact. Students are encouraged to participate incompetitions. This course is also available at two other levels, eachoffering 1 credit: course # 1950, Public Speaking II; and course #1955, Public Speaking III.
