SCHEDULE FULL YEAR. Non-Varsity Vocal Ensemble Level I isdesigned for the smaller group whose repertoire may range fromsixteenth century madrigals to twentieth century literature andmay include gospel, pop, vocal jazz and rock. The courseemphasizes student development in carrying an independentpart in the ensemble. Non Varsity Vocal Ens I is designed for a9-12th grader taking his/her 1st year of an ensemble choircourse. Non Varsity Vocal Ens 2 is designed for a 10th-12th gradertaking his/her 2nd year of an ensemble choir course. Non VarsityVocal Ens 3 is designed for a 11th-12th grader taking his/her 3rdyear of an ensemble choir course. Non Varsity Vocal Ens 4 isdesigned for a 12th grader taking his/her 4th year of an ensemblechoir course. Students are expected to perform in formal andinformal concert settings. Rehearsals and performances outsidethe school day are required.
