SCHEDULE FULL YEAR. Non Varsity Jazz Ensemble Level 1 isdesigned for a 9-12th grader taking his/her 1st year of the jazzensemble course. Varsity Jazz Ensemble Level 1 is a regularlyperforming ensemble that may participate in the UIL/Festivalevaluation process. Placement by audition only and with banddirector approval. An instrument use fee applies. Concurrentenrollment in Varsity or Non-Varsity Winds and Percussion orStrings is recommended. The course requires rehearsals andperformances that occur outside of the school day.
