SCHEDULE FULL YEAR. The Non Varsity Dance Ensemble is a basictraining ensemble. The primary function is to developperformance techniques, fundamental skills and confidenceperforming in a classroom setting, as well as on campus and inthe community. The ensemble studies and performs a variety ofdance genres: modern, world dance, ballet, jazz, tap, and socialdance. Performances and rehearsals outside of the school dayare required. This is a full year course. Levels I-IV are taughtconcurrently. Non-Varsity Dance Ensemble I fulfills the fine artsrequirement for graduation. Non-Varsity Dance Ensemble II III,and IV are possible P.E. substitutes.
