Students will express creativity and innovation through thedesign, implementation, and delivery of meaningful projectsusing mobile computing devices. Students will collaborate withone another, their instructor, and various electronic communitiesto solve problems presented throughout the course. Throughdata analysis, students will identify task requirements, plansearch strategies, and use software development concepts toaccess, analyze, and evaluate information needed to programmobile devices. By using software design knowledge and skillsthat support the work of individuals and groups in solvingproblems, students will select the technology appropriate for thetask, synthesize knowledge, create solutions, and evaluate theresults. Students will learn digital citizenship by researchingcurrent laws and regulations and by practicing integrity andrespect. Students will gain an understanding of the principles ofmobile application development through the study ofdevelopment platforms, programming languages, and softwaredesign standards.
