The Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) andRefrigeration Technology I DL course will be taught in thesecondary dual language program and instructed in Spanish. Itemphasizes an integrative approach to the teaching In In Heating,Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) and RefrigerationTechnology IN. Students will gain knowledge and skills needed toenter the industry as technicians in the HVAC and refrigerationindustry or building maintenance industry, prepare for apostsecondary degree in a specified field of constructionmanagement, or pursue an approved apprenticeship program.Students will acquire knowledge and skills in safety, principles ofHVAC theory, use of tools, codes, and installation of HVAC andrefrigeration equipment.
