SCHEDULE 1 SEMESTER. This course presentS extensive coverage of the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skill for Health including, physical health and hygiene, mental health and wellness, eating healthy and physical activity, parenting and paternity awareness, hands-only CPR, injury and violence prevention and safety (opt-in only), alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs, and reproductive and sexual health (opt-in only). Students will learn both the information needed to understand the concepts and the skills needed to make decisions about their health now and in the future. This course covers the high school level health TEKS and therefore students who complete the course will earn 0.5 credit
