Practicum in Marketing is a series of dynamic activities that focuson the customer to generate a profitable exchange. Students willgain knowledge and skills that help them to be proficient in oneor more of the marketing functional areas associated withdistribution, financing, marketing information management,pricing, product planning, promotion, purchasing, riskmanagement, and selling skills. Students will integrate skills fromacademic subjects, information technology, interpersonalcommunication, and management training to make responsibledecisions. The practicum course is a paid or unpaid experience forstudents participating in a coherent sequence of career andtechnical courses in marketing.
