Schedule 2 semesters. In Astronomy, students focus on patterns,processes, and relationships among astronomical objects in ouruniverse. Students acquire basic astronomical knowledge andsupporting evidence about sun-Earth-Moon relationships, the solarsystem, the Milky Way, the size and scale of the universe, and thebenefits and limitations of exploration. Students conductlaboratory and field investigations to support their developingconceptual framework of our place in space and time. This coursecontains extensive modifications as documented in each student'sIndividualized Education Program (IEP).
