SCHEDULE FULL YEAR. Piano Forte Level 1 introduces beginning toadvanced piano students to the fundamentals of music, pianotechniques, piano improvisation, accompanying and songwriting.Studies include keyboard theory and sight reading.Piano Forte Level 1 is designed for a 9-12th grader taking his/her1st year of the Piano Forte course sequence. Piano Forte Level 2 isdesigned for a 10-12th grader taking his/her 2nd year of the PianoForte course sequence. Piano Forte Level 3 is designed for a11-12th grader taking his/her 3rd year of the Piano Forte coursesequence. Piano Forte Level 4 is designed for a 12th grader takinghis/her 4th year of the Piano Forte course sequence. Students areexpected to perform in formal/informal concert settings, districtand UIL sponsored events. Rehearsals and performances outsidethe school day are required.
