Energy and Natural Resources Technology examines theinterrelatedness of environmental issues and productionagriculture. Students will evaluate the environmental benefitsprovided by sustainable resources and green technologies.Instruction is designed to allow for the application of science andtechnology to measure environmental impacts resulting fromproduction agriculture through field and laboratory experiences.To prepare for careers in environmental service systems, studentsmust attain academic skills and knowledge, acquire advancedtechnical knowledge and skills related to environmental servicesystems and the workplace, and develop knowledge and skillsregarding career opportunities, entry requirements, and industryexpectations. To prepare for success, students need opportunitiesto learn, reinforce, apply, and transfer their knowledge and skillsand technologies in a variety of settings. (City Lab)
