Advanced Engineering Design and Presentation is a continuationof knowledge and skills learned in Engineering Design andPresentation. Students enrolled in this course demonstrateadvanced knowledge and skills of a system design process as itapplies to engineering fields and project management usingmultiple software applications and tools necessary to produceand present working drawings, solid model renderings, andprototypes. Students expand on the use of a variety of computerhardware and software applications to complete assignments andprojects. Through implementation of a system design process,students transfer advanced academic skills to component designsand engineering systems. Emphasis is placed on transdisciplinaryand integrative approaches using skills from ideation,prototyping, and project management methods.
