Required physical education classes, as well as elective classes are taught throughout the day. Foundations of Physical Education are required to meet the 1 credit PE requirement for graduation. It is a required 9th grade class and is a prerequisite for all other physical education classes. After completion of the foundation courses, students are encouraged to take elective courses during the remainder of their tenure at AHS.\
