Nathan Hale High School – Learning Lab

This course is for students with Individualized Education Plans (IEP) and is designed to provide instruction to students who require additional support with core academic class content in addition to the instruction outlined in their IEPs. Concepts taught include, but are not limited to, study skills, organization, transition supports, and reading, writing, and math strategies with an emphasis in basic skills. Students work toward their annual IEP goals through assignments from the general education curriculum in addition to specially designed instruction provided by the instructor.
Prerequisites: Instructor recommendation and an IEP
