Prerequisites: This course is designed to provide students with an in-depth study and practical application of laboratory design and function of the chemistry laboratory. With a focus on laboratory design, safety and data collection using a variety of sensors as well as classical wet chemistry techniques, the class will offer STEM experiences similar to that of higher-level lab courses. Laboratory techniques involving colorimetric, spectroscopic and gravitational analysis will be developed. (Prerequisite: SC440 Chemistry) (Laboratory science)
