Prerequisites: This is a multidisciplinary laboratory course, with emphasis on advanced biology topics, giving students an appreciation of how scientific concepts are applied to real world situations, specifically forensic and crime scene investigations. Topics of study will include the history of forensic science and disciplines such as fingerprinting, questioned documents, entomology, anthropology, DNA analysis, serology, trace evidence, pathology, law and ethics and current legal issues affecting the field of forensic science. 50% of the course will be used for labs and hands-on activities. (Prerequisite: SC430 Biology) (Laboratory science)
