Prerequisites: This course guides students through the structure, function, and processes of the basic unit of life: cells. Students will engage in hands-on laboratory experiments, interactive models, and critical analysis of current research to build a strong foundation in cellular biology. Emphasis is placed on developing scientific thinking, data analysis, and lab skills, preparing students for advanced studies in biology and related fields. Students will explore how cellular processes sustain life and how disruptions in these processes can lead to disease, making connections between biology and real-world applications in health, biotechnology, and environmental science. (Prerequisites: SC430C/H Biology and SC440C/H Chemistry; Corequisites: HS462H Genetics)
