Mojave High School – Percussion Ensemble I

This one-year course is designed for students who have a desire to learn to play percussion instruments. In the fall semester, the emphasis will be on marching equipment, as well as concert percussion. Spring semester will focus primarily on concert percussion, as all students must learn mallet instruments, drums, and hand percussion. All members of the Percussion Ensemble participate in Marching/Pep Band. Participation in after-school rehearsals and performances is required.
Prerequisites: Students must also be enrolled in Marching Band (Marching Band will be held after traditional day/9th or 10th period)
