Mojave High School – Jazz Band - Intermediate

This secondary performance-based course provides students with a variety of jazz ensemble experiences. Music is studied and performed from a beginning to intermediate level of jazz repertoire. Jazz basics and technique are intermixed with concert music for the semester. This ensemble may perform at festivals and off campus locations throughout the semester. Extracurricular commitment is required.
Prerequisites: 2 years of Successful Band experience, and consent of the director; Must also be enrolled in another instrument ensemble (ie: orchestra, int./adv. Band, or guitar)
