Mojave High School – Jazz Band - Advanced

This elite ensemble provides students with the highest level jazz ensemble experience. Music is studied and performed from an intermediate to advanced level of jazz repertoire. Students will be held to the absolute highest performance standards. Extracurricular commitment is required. Traditional jazz instruments are used in this course. (i.e. - saxophone, trombone, trumpet, piano, bass, drums, guitar, & mallet percussion).
Prerequisites: AUDITION, OR WRITTEN CONSENT OF DIRECTOR ONLY; Must also be enrolled in another instrument ensemble (ie: orchestra, int./adv. Band, or guitar)
