It is recommended that students not only have a background in Honors Geometry but also demonstrate a strong proficiency in Honors/Advanced Algebra I. Students who take this course must possess a good understanding of numbers and be able to think critically. Advanced topics include linear programming, statistics, matrices, and their applications, as well as an in-depth analysis of a wide range of functions. A TI-30XIIS Scientific calculator is required for this course. A calculator other than the TI-30XIIS may not be allowed on some class activities and assessments.
