Prerequisites: Prerequisite A grade of $^ { \\circ } \\mathbf { A } ^ { \\prime \\prime }$ in English 1, 2 or a grade of “C” in English 1, 2 Cluster or teacher recommendation. Course content is pursued in greater detail for language, composition, and reading skills, includes the short story, poetry, nonfiction, modern drama, world mythology, Shakespeare, and novels used in preparation for AP course work.
