Military Magnet Academy – Culinary Arts Management 1

Requirement: Students will be expected to obtain specified uniform and shoes. Financial assistance may be available to students who can demonstrate need. Culinary Arts 1 is designed to provide students with the necessary knowledge and skills of food preparation for entry-level jobs in the food service industry. Students explore careers and job choices, practice sanitation and safety standards, and demonstrate skills in the use of equipment operation. In addition, students are introduced to various aspects of the culinary industry, such as preparing baked items, salads, short order, desserts, and beverages.
