Accounting 1 tracks the flow of money into and out of a business. It is the study of preparing business records for the purpose of making management decisions. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) are applied to the financial data needed to understand businesses organized as sole proprietorships and corporations. Accounting is the language of business and is strongly recommended for any student interested in business as a career. Course fee includes a workbook and simulations.
