Metea Valley High School – FACS1100 Peer Partners Culinary

This course is a combination of culinary labs and classroom experiences. Through an application process, students will be selected to collaboratively partner with students with a disability to develop skills related to food preparation, nutrition, lesson planning, and independent living. All students will have the opportunity to develop recipe reading skills, prepare a variety of recipes, apply safety and sanitation procedures, execute proper culinary techniques and etiquette. A lab fee will be charged.
