Meade High – American Sign Language 2

Designed to extend students experience with American Sign Language and culture of the deaf community and others who use sign language as a means of communication. Students communicate on a variety of topics pertaining to pop culture, the impact of technology in our daily lives, travel, celebrations, rites of passage, and sharing our stories. The proficiency target is intermediate low. Emphasis will continue to be placed on the development of the students’ receptive and expressive skills.
