Mcneil High School – American Sign Language ASL III (Advanced)

In ASL III Advanced, students will refine their ability to perform intermediate tasks and begin developing advanced-level skills in American Sign Language. Emphasis will be placed on engaging in extended conversations, expressing abstract ideas, and using more complex grammatical structures. Students will also deepen their cultural understanding and appreciation of the Deaf community through exploration of authentic materials and contexts.
Prerequisites: Successful completion of American Sign Language (ASL) level II or demonstrated equivalent proficiency as determined by the district.
