Chinese III continues to develop students’ proficiency in the Chinese language and culture. Students will strengthen their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills by engaging with a variety of topics that extend beyond daily life into broader real-world contexts. Instruction emphasizes the interpersonal, interpretive, and presentational modes of communication, while also integrating culturally appropriate practices and perspectives.
Prerequisites: Successful completion of Chinese level II, achieving a Novice High to Intermediate Low proficiency level, or demonstrated equivalent proficiency as determined by the district.
