ROBOTICS I students will demonstrate knowledge and skillsnecessary for the robotic and automation industry. Throughimplementation of the design process, students will transfer advancedacademic skills to component designs in a project-based environmentincluding the math and science of robotics. This course also focuses onsoftware development required to implement robotic systems. Studentswill build prototypes or use simulation software to test their designs.Additionally, students explore career opportunities, employerexpectations, and educational needs in the robotic and automationindustry. Weekend competitions optional.
