ASTRONOMY In Astronomy, students focus on patterns, processes,and relationships among astronomical objects in our universe. Studentsacquire basic astronomical knowledge and supporting evidence aboutsun-Earth-Moon relationships, the solar system, the Milky Way, thesize and scale of the universe, and the benefits and limitations ofexploration. Students conduct laboratory and field investigations anduse scientific and engineering practices to support their developingconceptual framework of our place in space and time. This course willcount as a 4th year science.
