Maurice Hawk Elementary School – Choreography & Performance

Choreography & Performance is a performance-based class where students build off the skills developed in World Dance and/or other knowledge of Dance. By deepening performance understanding through technical skill and heightened physical intense movement, students will create and showcase complex dances in classroom informal showings, digital performances, and live performances for the school and community. Dancers will continue to respond and connect with dance as an art form, and use their understanding to develop a portfolio that represents their artistic skill and vision.
Prerequisites: World Dance or Portfolio/Audition
