Matoaca High – Er800o: Ms Flex Block

Middle School Flex Block is a non-graded period designed to provide time for school wide activities, such as acceleration or remediation opportunities and Promote Respect, PBIS or other Core Values-related lessons.  Students will collaborate, receive teacher support and make connections to the core curriculum. This course is for 8th grade students. C9043O JOBS FOR VIRGINIA GRADUATES II (GRADE 10) C9044O JOBS FOR VIRGINIA GRADUATES III (GRADE 11) C9045O JOBS FOR VIRGINIA GRADUATES IV (GRADE 12) Jobs for Virginia Graduates (JVG) provides students facing adverse education, personal and family barriers with the tools to develop core skills that encourage independent, responsible and productive living. The JVG curriculum addresses competencies in career development, job attainment and job survival, as well as basic competencies in written and verbal communications and mathematical calculations. The program promotes the Career Association, a student-led organization designed to aid students in leadership development, organizational skills development, team building and demonstrating the ability to accomplish a set of goals.
