This introductory course is designed for freshmen entering the Specialty Center for the Arts. Fine Artist’s Studio I focuses on the foundational techniques and principles of traditional two-dimensional art. Students will explore a variety of dry media (e.g., graphite, charcoal, pastels) and wet media (e.g., ink, watercolor, acrylics), as well as basic printmaking techniques.
