Manchester High – Dance Major 1

Dancers work in the styles of ballet, modern and jazz to explore technique, anatomy and physiology and dance history. Dancers develop creative skills through studies of improvisation, basic composition and the choreographic process. Dancers explore options for the arts in higher education and the professional world, and also become familiar with the basics of dance production and administration. (Prerequisite:  Selected for admission to the Specialty Center for the Arts)
