Manatee Technical College – Computer Aided Drawing and Modeling

This program focuses on use of software to convert the engineering or architectural designs into technical models and drawings. Students can specialize in architectural, civil, or mechanical CAD modeling and use technical drawings to help design everything from microchips to skyscrapers. Includes: TDR0301 CAD and Modeling I, TDR0302 CAD and Modeling II, TDR0305 Mechanical CAD Technician, TDR0303 Building Information Modeling CAD Technician. Total: 1200 hours (11 months).
Prerequisites: Apply to MTC and complete the To-Do List at MTCdashboard.net. The Basic Skills Assessment must be taken within 6 weeks of the admit date unless exemption criteria have been documented per State Statute.
