Manatee Technical College – CNC Production Specialist

This program focuses on computer numeric controls (CNC) as it relates to the automation, machining, and manufacturing industry, and demonstrates such elements of basic machine programming and operation aligned to local manufacturing career availability. 3, 4, and 5 axis machine training is available. Includes: PMT0026 CNC Production Technician I (300 hrs), PMT0027 CNC Production Technician II (300 hrs). Total: 600 hours (6 months full-time, 10 months part-time).
Prerequisites: Applicants must apply to MTC and complete a To-Do List on the MTC dashboard. The Basic Skills Assessment must be taken within 6 weeks of the admit date unless exemption criteria have been documented. Required materials include a scientific calculator with trigonometry functions and close-toed shoes.
