Madison High – Musical Theatre Fund

Musical Theatre Fundamentals is a year long course where students will identify and practice performance techniques specific to musical theatre through multidisciplinary lenses; including, but not limited to: musical theatre history, singing, acting, and movement. Through observing and participating in various activities, students will examine classical and contemporary musical theatre works, characters, and styles with an overall emphasis on performance. Participation in academy-based performances may be required to receive credit for this course. This course may be used to satisfy the graduation requirement for a credit in fine arts.
