This course is designed for students who have attained a minimum level of proficiency on a band instrument as determined by the director.  Its intent is to develop performance skills through concert band, pep band, and marching band so that students may in turn develop a higher appreciation for instrumental music.  This course is also intended to enhance students’ character traits, with emphasis placed on personal responsibility and teamwork.  Students are required to participate in all scheduled performances in and out of school, such as concerts, pep band performances, parades, and contests.
