Lyons Middle/Senior High School – Yearbook

This course is designed for students who have a sensitivity to effective communication through both visual and verbal creativity, and who, therefore, have a desire to serve on the yearbook staff.  Its intent is to give students the experience of planning, financing, and publishing a yearbook.  The course includes all aspects of yearbook publication, such as selling advertisements, writing copy, photographing, designing, and page layout using computer technology.  Students are expected to participate in all phases of yearbook production and to contribute in a positive manner to the group effort.
