Chorus is a course for the study and performance of standard choral repertory selected from many periods and styles arranged for soprano, alto, tenor, and bass. The emphasis of this course is on the development of the singing voice, the ability to sing in harmony, music reading skills, musicianship, ensemble skills, as well as the development of personal practice habits and performance etiquette. The California Visual and Performing Arts Content Standards are infused throughout this course. The
