“Lockhurst Drive Charter Elementary School will provide an educational environment that promotes and develops academic excellence empowering students to become productive and responsible citizens of the world. Our students will have first-hand knowledge that as a society, each member has unique value and worth despite differences in outlook, identity, and ability. That understanding will come from the cooperative and collaborative opportunities that students will have with inclusion students, gifted students, English Language Learners, and typical students as they work to solve problems and tackle tasks. As a charter, we will be able to provide wider opportunities for students. This will enable Lockhurst Drive Charter students to conduct themselves with discernment in interpersonal relationships and demonstrate accomplishment in current and future tasks.”
